How often should a generator be serviced?
With proper care, Ethy-Gen® generators can provide years of dependable service with minimal maintenance. Simply keep the unit clean, avoid physical damage, and use only Ethy-Gen® II Concentrate. If you ever suspect a problem or have questions about performance, contact us—we'll help ensure your generator continues operating at its best.

How long does service take?
Most repairs are completed within a few business days after we receive your unit.

What should I do before shipping?
- Drain all Ethy-Gen® II from the reservoir.
- Clean the exterior
- Include a note with your contact information and description of the issue.

How should I prepare it for shipping?
Place generator in an appropriate box and protect with sufficient packing material. Return to the address indicated below, at your expense, using a parcel service like UPS or FedEx with tracking. If you request a replacement generator, we will send it to you at our expense.

I lease my generator from you, will I automatically receive a replacement unit?
No, you need to contact us to request a replacement! Returning a generator to us for service does not trigger a replacement order, so be sure to call or email us if a replacement is needed.
