The Smart-Ripe® is a microprocessor and Ethernet-based Ethylene Generator that monitors ethylene
application, plus ripening room temperatures
and relative humidity levels!

Microprocessor and Ethernet-based
This specially-equipped generator is Ethernet-enabled and contains a microprocessor that communicates with us via the Internet.
Internet connectivity enables us to monitor for proper performance of the generator’s internal processes.
For the CRS - Centralized Ripening System®, we also monitor the pump control station. If a pump malfunctions or an Ethy-Gen® II Ripening Concentrate container empties, then we can also notify personnel of the situation.
The Smart-Ripe® also monitors Room Air Temperature and Relative Humidity (RH%).
 Easy to Use
Once a Smart-Ripe® Generator is installed in a ripening room, the keypad and LCD allow for easy setup of Room Number and high/low Temperature and RH% limits.
 Easy to Connect to your Network
Ethernet connection is easy; the connector is located on the side of the Smart-Ripe® cabinet. The connector is rugged and made to withstand ripening room environments.

Web Access, E-mail and Phone Alerts
While you can view ripening room temperature and RH% on each Smart-Ripe® LCD, the generator status along with room air temperature and RH% are reported in to our server every 5 minutes. We give you secure access to our Smart-Ripe® web site to see any or all of your Smart-Ripe® equipped rooms, so you can see what’s going on with your rooms from anywhere you have Internet access. We also provide e-mail or phone alerts...so if a generator fails, or if temperatures get too warm or too cool, or if your relative humidity falls below your desired levels, we’ll know about it. If your CRS runs out of Ethy-Gen® II, then we’ll know about that, too. Then we can alert you by phone, e-mail or pager so that any vital processes will not be interrupted and your valuable fruit will be protected.

Data Logging
Our servers will store every generator status, room air temperature and room RH% reading so that you can regularly download these for your record keeping and compliance reports.
