Operating Instructions are basic and simple; there are no explosion possibilities when following these easy instructions!

Ethylene production is low as is needed for citrus degreening; also, it is adjustable to accommodate different room sizes and ethylene requirements (minimum degreening room size 1,500 cubic feet).

Proper Operation Indicator Light

With intelligent microprocessor technology, critical processes of the generator are monitored. Continuous indication of operation status is provided, making it clearly evident of ethylene production.

Additional details:

Ethylene output is uniform for better fruit degreening.
2.5 quart Ethy-Gen^® II Ripening Concentrate reservoir.
Eight (8) position switch to adjust ethylene output. The unit will ocnvert one quart of Ethy-Gen II to ethylene in:
- 1 = 144 HOURS / QUART
- 2 = 132 HOURS / QUART
- 3 = 120 HOURS / QUART
- 4 = 108 HOURS / QUART
- 5 = 96 HOURS / QUART
- 6 = 84 HOURS / QUART
- 7 = 72 HOURS / QUART
- 8 = 60 HOURS / QUART

The Citrus Generator is designed for degreening rooms 30,000 cubic feet and smaller.

For larger rooms, the Easy-Ripe^® Generator, with a larger ethylene production capacity, may be required.

The Centralized Ripening System^® (CRS) is ideal for large scale degreening operations.

*Note: Remember that ethylene is explosive at 27,000 ppm; never use one of our generators in a ripening room that is less than 1,500 ftł (43 mł). Our products, when used as directed, cannot produce explosive levels of ethylene in commercial ripening rooms.
